AUGUST 13th, 2024 - Keshaw McArthur’s Peninsula House project has commenced onsite - an addition and alteration to a large character home in Auckland’s North Shore.
RIDGE HOUSE SHORTLISTED FOR NATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARD
AUGUST 5th, 2024 - Keshaw McArthur’s Ridge House project has been shortlisted in the 2024 New Zealand Institute of Architects Architecture Awards. We are honoured to be considered for this prestigious award in the Housing - Alterations and Additions category.
ARRIVAL COFFEE TABLE RELEASE
JUNE 11th, 2024 - Keshaw McArthur welcome their first furniture piece to market, the Arrival Coffee Table. Initially developed for a private home, the Arrival Coffee Table by architects Keshaw McArthur is constructed of two main forms: a large hand-sculpted elliptical tabletop, gently shaped in plan and surface, spanning horizontally placed cuboid legs. The table sits low to the ground, with the tabletop appearing to hover. The shadow cast on the floor surface is contrasted against the pale Maple wood, chosen for its fineness and subtlety in grain. The concept continues Keshaw McArthur’s exploration of the 'notion of the field' and is realised through principles of duality: hovering and groundedness; free-formed and calculated; handworked and machined.
Each table is unique and is handcrafted by Auckland based woodworker Grant Bailey.
RIDGE HOUSE WINS LOCAL ARCHITECTURE AWARD
MAY 15th, 2024 - Keshaw McArthur’s recently completed Ridge House project has been selected a category winner in the 2024 New Zealand Institute of Architects Auckland Architecture Awards. The project was up against other recently completed projects in the Housing - Alterations and Additions category.
QUEENSTOWN HOUSE COMPLETED
MAY 05th, 2024 - Keshaw McArthur is pleased to announce the completion of a new house in Queenstown. Situated 700m above sea level, the house for a young family is surrounded by snowy mountain peaks on all sides. We had the opportunity to collaborate with UK based Matheson Whiteley on this project during the early design stage, together formulating substance to ideas that could be delved into as the design progressed. An intriguing home that we hope to share more of shortly.
GRASSLANDS STUDIO NOMINATED FOR NATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARD
AUG 03, 2023 - After winning a local architecture award at the NZIA Auckland awards ceremony earlier this year, Keshaw McArthur are pleased to announce that Grasslands Studio has been nominated for a prestigious national award in the Small Projects category of the 2023 NZIA New Zealand Architecture Awards.

NORMANBY SHOWROOM COMPLETED
JANUARY 27th, 2023 - Keshaw McArthur designed the new showroom and offices for Simon James. This adaptive reuse project is located in the commercial and retail precinct in Mt Eden.
RIDGE HOUSE COMPLETED
NOVEMBER 28th, 2022 - Ridge House, a private commission in central Auckland has completed. A 1910 weatherboard cottage on the ridge of Arch Hill has been renovated, with a new extension for living positioned at the rear of the narrow site.
